Following up on my earlier post about Hawthorn, here’s another interesting example.
On Saturday I had a short scouting trip down to Blaid’s Wood in Durham and found the bluebells in full flower.
I had thought that the early blossom in the hedgerow was Hawthorn but closer analysis showed it wasn’t.
